Our Boundary X Policy
At Boundary X, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes an item may not be quite right, or you may change your mind. This policy outlines our guidelines for returns, exchanges, and refunds for purchases made online and in-store at boundaryx.com.au.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item you purchased from us is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from the description, we will meet our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible after discovering the issue. We may request photographs or further details to help assess the problem.
Depending on the nature of the issue, Boundary X may offer a repair, replacement, store credit, or partial refund.
All faulty items returned will be assessed by our team. In some cases, this may involve sending the item to the manufacturer for further assessment.
This policy does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
Cricket Bat Warranty
Cricket bats are made from natural willow and are subject to significant stress during use. As such, no bat is unbreakable and some surface marks or cracks may occur during normal play.
Boundary X bats are covered by a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects only.
To be eligible for this warranty, the bat must have a full sheet of Extratec protection applied to the face of the bat. Bats used without a full sheet of Extratec protection will not be covered under the Boundary X warranty, as this protection helps reduce damage to the willow during normal play.
To maintain warranty eligibility, all bats must also be properly knocked-in and prepared before match play. Damage resulting from insufficient knocking-in, immediate use against hard cricket balls, or improper preparation will not be covered under warranty.
Manufacturing defects may include issues such as:
Handle failure
Structural faults in the blade or splice
This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal use or misuse, including but not limited to:
Edge or toe damage
Yorker impacts or repeated toe strikes
Surface cracks or cosmetic marks
Damage caused by playing yorker deliveries
Use without proper knocking-in
Damage from moisture, heat, or improper storage
All bat damage claims will be assessed by the Boundary X team, and all warranty decisions will be made at the discretion of Boundary X following assessment.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the 6-month warranty period, Boundary X may offer a repair, replacement, store credit, or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
